Key Responsibilities
- Minimum 98% availability across all A,B,C,and P category lines.
- To ensure that adequate stock levels, in line with AMR usage, are maintained at all times and is within the agreed number of weeks stock holding.
- Responsibility for the Stock direct process from end to end.
- To develop and maintain an environment of continuous improvement.
- To ensure that customer and supplier stock holding agreements are adhered to.
- Recruitment, Management and development of a team of 8.
- Minimisation of excess and obsolete stock.
- Resolution in a timely manner of all stock invoice queries.
- Provide management information on request and in the format required.
- Recommend and implement changes to current systems and procedures in order to improve stock availability levels.
- To liaise closely with sales and other dept including marketing to ensure forecasts are accurately maintained.
- Involvement in product and sku rationalisation program.
- Involvement in the strategic development of the purchasing function.
Key Skills
- A track record in improving stock availability within a FMCG environment.
- Man management experience.
- Experience of using a systemised stock replenishment system, SAGE preferred.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel.
- Experience of working with Optimiser or other forecasting software preferred.
- Excellent communication skills. ?
