Description
Main Responsibilities
- To deliver sustainable cost savings across both sites.
- Explore and secure international opportunities in particular from within Eastern Europe.
- Ensure supply is on time, on quality and on cost.
- To create an effective vendor policy.
- To ensure Sub-contractors perform in accordance with their obligations.
Key Skills:
- Advanced negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of contracts.
- Good technical understanding of Electro-Mechanical procurement.
- Proven track record of cost reduction.
- Good computer skills including Word, Excel, Access and ideally Power Point.
- Experience of overseas sourcing beneficial.
- Able to analyse and determine make v buy decisions.
Personal Skills:
- Ideally CIPS Qualified.
- Educated to degree level or relevant experience.
- A team player, but able to work on own initiative.
- Good process and change management awareness.
