Description
Aftermarket Buyer / Senior Buyer- £35,000
This is an opportunity to join a growing diversified Aerospace & Engineering group. Their order book is extremly buoyant leading to a requirement for an Aftermarket Buyer to join the business. Responsible for identifying and establishing supply chains for new programmes and working with the appropriate businesses functions to achieve a robust transfer from product development into volume production. In addition, the Aftermarket Buyer will provide support to the Commodity Managers to implement best practice strategic sourcing principles across a number of commodities.
Skills / Experience
· Seasoned and experienced supply chain professional
· Highly data literate and driven by the facts of a case.
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to instil confidence in all stakeholder groups and manage complex commercial relationships.
· Must be self-starter, able to lead by example and driven to achieve exacting targets
· Has operated within a commercial role in a large multi division organisation.
· Experience of introducing new suppliers.
· Project/programme mangement
