HIGH PERFORMANCE INDUSTRIAL & MARINE DIESEL ENGINES

Our client is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of large, high performance Industrial and Marine engines. As part of a significant expansion in their activities, the company is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Sales Engineer/Account manager to join the Power Generation sales team. The position, specialising in either the Diesel or Gas (CHP) sectors will cater for the continued development of the expanding customer base. Knowledge of Industrial prime-movers is a prerequisite and technical sales experience of complete Power Generating systems a major asset.
Specific responsibilities will include effectively representing the products and standards of the company with UK consultants, OEMs and end-users, handling all aspects of the sales process, from generating market leads, processing enquiries, producing formal quotations to contract negotiations and regular customer visits in the UK as well as to the Head Office in Germany. You will also be involved in the production of marketing and sales strategies and participate at exhibitions and trade association events.
The successful candidate must possess a recognised engineering qualification together with a proven background in the selling of a technical product or service within a complex, technical environment.
