Industrialization Engineer Stevenage Salary To 25000 to 45000
Description:
· Working along as part of Mechanical Platform MSC's Industrialisation Team (ATI52) for Eurostar 3000, an Industrialisation Engineer is required to work alongside both the Structure and Propulsion Product Manager and MSC Leader in there activities.
· The Industrialisation Team's role is to manage all activities outside the scope of on-going projects. As such, this includes such tasks as leadership of specific Product Development programmes, production of ARTES proposals to ESA, management of monthly Product CCBs, maintenance of definition and qualification files etc.
· Depending on the level of experience, opportunities exists for either a position supporting the above managers or a higher position, taking direct responsibility for a range tasks.
· In this role, close working is required with all contributors to Mechanical Platform activities (ie. Operations, Engineering, PA, MAIT, Procurement etc) as well as liaison with the System teams in Toulouse and the CPS Procurement and Production Teams in EADS-ST.
Requirement:
· Engineering background with good familiarity of Mechanical / Thermal / Propulsion aspects of satellite design.
· Broad experience of Astrium and our internal processes.
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work closely with senior management in UK, France and Germany.
· Enthusiastic, motivated and able to focus on global objectives. | | |
