Description
EMC Design Engineer, initial 6 months contract based in Portsmouth rate to £40 ph (BC to SC) vn4050
Essential Skills/Experience:
HNC/HND/BSc Physics or electronics or related subject
EMC test and design experience to Mil Std 462 or equivalent.
Experience within the military / Defence / Avionics industry
EMC experience in a Space Systems Environment
Knowledge of PIMPs and multipactor
Outline Job Profile:
An experience EMC Engineer is required to undertake EMC Engineering tasks on RF communications payload projects, proposals and studies. Specifics tasks will include:
Requirements analysis
Equipment specification development, supporting Electrical/ RF design Engineers
Advise on EMC control techniques and practices
EMC design analysis
Preparation of test specifications and procedures as part of a multidisciplinary team
Supervision of EMC tests, controlling of test programmes and assisting with test reports
Liaison with customer representatives and participation in meetings and formal design reviews.
NOTE: Must be able to travel including overseas if required. | | |
