Description
Mechanical Test Engineer, initial 3 months contract based Stevenage rate 20 per hour
Qualifications and skills
Apprenticeship with suitable experience in relevant discipline. HNC minimum in Mechanical, Engineering or physics. Good Mechanical Engineering knowledge.
Working knowledge of Hydraulics. Some knowledge of instrumentation and electronic test equipment.
Previous Experience
Essential: Mechanical Engineering
Test experience, apprenticeship in relevant discipline
Outline Job Profile
Carry out Mechanical testing of structures and mechanical assemblies to procedure/requirements using hydraulic actuators and/or dead weights. Design test rigs and systems. Where necessary prepare documentation and prepare raw test data for analysis. Be prepared if necessary to work shifts or extended hours. Be a good communicator able to work at staff levels within the company. | | |
