Description
Control systems engineer (Someone with previous experience with control systems) required in the Staffordshire area to be responsible for providing engineering solutions for Control Systems related projects within HV / LV electrical substations.
Your role will involve:
- Engineering Control Systems; interfacing to new and existing substations at voltages covering the full distribution and transmission range; from design to Factory Acceptance Testing.
- Working in both a conceptual and detailed design environment providing engineering solutions
- Provide technical support to the tendering team
- Prepare documentation for the tendering team,
- Preparation of project specific documentation
- Provide support in the production of site installation & commissioning instructions, as installed drawings packages.
- To act as Design Team Leader when required ensuring co-ordination of design across disciplines.

You will ideally be someone with the following:-
- The ideal candidate will be educated to HNC / Degree level preferably in an electrical control engineering discipline or similar.
- Must have over previous years experience with control systems.
