Description
Power Electronics Engineer (someone with knowledge of modern high power electronics (based upon IGBTs, IGCTs, RBGTOs and IEGTs) and the design of power converters based upon these components) required in the Warwickshire area to investigate and undertake forward development relating to new power electronic components and circuit topologies.
Your role will involve:
- Investigate new power electronic components
- Research new topologies and work within teams to develop the new ideas being generated
You will ideally be someone with the following:
- Be familiar with the use of circuit modelling tools, and the inherent limitations
- Be familiar with the relevant international standards for power converters, and how to design to meet these.
