Description Primavera Systems Specialist – P3e / Programme Management – Defence/Aerospace. The Primavera Systems Specialist/Programme Manager will assist the solutions architect and the Programme Management community with supporting/ managing the Primavera system and other related programme management systems. Responsible for supporting the Aerospace Division in the migration from legacy systems to Primavera and other integrated systems. Responsible for ensuring programme management systems, (PertMaster, WinSight, Cobra (EVM), etc.) are fit for purpose and support the relevant business processes Key tasks and responsibilities - Provide Primavera, P3, P3e, system management and support to ensure that the system and any other associated programme management systems, (PertMaster, WinSight, Cobra (EVM), etc.) are fit for purpose and support the relevant business processes. Compile work instructions to define the standard system processes which will support business processes. Support Programme Management process (MAP, Earned Value Management, Risk Management, Communications Management...) improvement measures. Provide Process and Training development support. . Interface, data and reporting support including links to Oracle, the HR Northgate system, Sales and Operations Planning process (S&OP) and other critical business systems. Includes versioning, operational support and training support for the interface. Support Enterprise/ Programme and Control Account level Metrics and Reporting. Provide the first point of contact for user support and low-level system coaching - Liaise with DSV (Primavera Support) to escalate and resolve 3rd level support calls. . Promote the use of knowledge sharing tools and processes. Schedule construction coaching and schedule auditing support. PM Tools licence control. Conduct and report on Tools Audits for uptake and compliance. Skills and Experience Required -Hands-on working knowledge / application of enterprise scheduling tools, Primavera, P3, P3e, P5, P6." Practical knowledge of process development/management techniques and systems preferred. Significant programme experience preferably in a defence/ aerospace/ engineering environment. Good understanding of generic processes and techniques used to schedule project activities e.g. WBS, OBS, milestones, dependencies, float, critical path etc. Practical knowledge of processes governing cost schedule control systems, including integration to financial, time recording, reporting and/or other systems. Good understanding of the Programme Management process that includes Change Control, Risk Management and Earned Value Management. Proficient user of MS Office, especially Excel preferred. Literacy level and report writing skills should meet requirements to produce short presentations, flow-charts or mini-reports suitable for distribution to senior management, without the need for significant additional re-work. Strong presentation skills required for training/coaching aspects. Strong administrative, organizational, managerial, and team working skills. Innovation and creativity to think differently and move the business away from the norm. Strong influencing, networking, & communication skills.
