Description
KW Ltd is an independent engineering company, founded in 1999, offering design and analysis as well as specialist consultancy and third party support services in Subsea Pipelines and Structures. We also provide specialist services in civil, structural, mechanical, marine and coastal engineering.

Reporting and Interfaces
·Reports to immediate supervisor or Project Manager as assigned
·Liaises with other members of engineering team as applicable
·Liaise with Commercial Manager in connection with proposals
Key Roles and Responsibilities
·Undertake project lead responsibilities as assigned by project manager or supervisor
·Supervise other members of project and engineering team as required
·Ensure compliance with corporate and project QMS and HSE procedures
Duties
·Engineering calculations and report writing
·Checking the quality and engineering content of engineering drawings and sketches
·Interact with clients and sub-contractors
·Liaise with material and equipment suppliers
·Take part in tender preparation activities
·Undertaking assignments in other KW offices, client offices, vessels or site
Required engineering experience –
·Project management or lead engineer experience
·Knowledge of pipeline design and installation
·Familiarity with subsea infrastructure and equipment
·Knowledge of relevant codes
·Experience in use of relevant software
·Ideally working for engineering contractor/consultancy, undertaking some or all of:
o FEED/Concept or detailed design o Installation engineering Desirable software experience -
·ABAQUS
·ANSYS
·FS2000
·INVENTOR
·SAGE PROFILE
·AUTOCAD
·MATHCAD
·ORCAFLEX / FLEXCOM or similar
Required qualifications –
·B.Eng in relevant subject
·MSc. in relevant engineering discipline is desirable.
