Senior Hardware Design Engineer - High speed digital, Power PC, X86, PCI..

Key skills: High speed digital, Power PC, Intel X86 processors, PCI, high speed serial Fabric, PCIe, SRIO, XAUI, power supply, CPLD / FPGA design using VHDL.
New 'hands-on' position with a medium sized company who design and manufacture a 'world' beating range of microprocessor and bus based electronic systems & boards.
Expansion within their DSP, Networking & Graphics Team has given rise to this position for an engineer with ideally 3 years plus experience of digital/microprocessor and FPGA/VHDL design to get involved and be responsible for board level design for initial customer specification through to manufacture and support.
Your experience should include high speed digital hardware design togother with some experience of: Power PC, Intel processors x86, PCI, high speed Fabric experience, PCIe, SRIO, power supplies, CPLD/FPGA design using VHDL. Any further experience of software in C or VxWorks will be very welcomed.
The company is based in a rural location (yet within easy reach of the local town for shopping etc), has purpose built offices/labs with staff restaurant & free parking.
