Description Summary of the role Working in partnership with site craft personnel, to provide line management and training management of apprentices.
Key accountabilities · Completion of Apprenticeship framework and NVQ assessment for all apprentices under line management · Pastoral care of all apprentices under line management · Support to academy instructors with basic skills training for apprentices · Development and performance management of direct reports

Knowledge, Qualifications, Experience & Skills · Willing to develop knowledge of the relevant Apprentice Academy Quality and Safety procedures · Evidence of good levels of literacy and numeracy · BTEC ONC or the equivalent qualification · NVQ assessment and/or verification qualifications would be an advantage · PGCE or professional training qualification would be an advantage · Vocational training qualifications would be an advantage · Craft apprenticeship or the equivalent HM Services training · Experience in the appropriate trade group · Good communication skills, both written and verbal · Good influencing skills · Good analytical skills · The ability to plan work schedules
Special Requirements · Able to visit all areas of site to monitor work placements and progress of individuals
