Manufacturing Manager, Cambridge £38k
Role: Manufacturing Department Manager
Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
An exclusive opportunity for a Manufacturing Manager has come about to join an expanding company, who are a world leader in the design, manufacturing, selling of sensors and instruments for environmental monitoring and plant sciences.
The role is to provide leadership and guidance of their manufacturing operations and purchasing teams, in addition main roles include the following:
- Active role in evolving planning, such as increasing productivity and enhancement towards quality
- Play a role in strategic planning whereby the need to draw up plans for achieving efficiencies and quality improvements towards manufacturing
- Need to have a good understanding towards product quality and introducing quality improvements
Ideally we are looking for someone who seizes up to 5 years or more of successful management experience preferably in SMEs with a commercial electronics company. Also to attribute a relevant degree or HND qualification in Production Management, along with proven people-management skills.
