Senior Electronic Engineer
Salary – £35K - £42K
Based – Cambridge
Benefits – 20 days, rising to 25, plus bank holidays, life insurance, pension scheme and child care
Due to continued growth, a new position for a Senior Electronics Engineer / Electronic Design Engineer, has come up with a company who design and develop scientific instruments used within various environmental applications.
They are looking for the Senior Electronic Engineer to provide a strong contribution to all aspects of the electronic design of new and existing products, as well as test and manufacturing equipment, where the main responsibilities will cover all aspects of electronic design from concept through to manufacture and the development of electronic instruments, sensors and systems
Ideally you should have:
• Excellent Honours Degree in Electronics or Electronic Engineering.
• Expertise in RF sensing techniques and the measurement of the dielectric properties of materials.
• Up to 5 years or more industrial experience or equivalent of R&D, with a track record of designing products through to manufacture.
• Considerable expertise with analogue design, low power instrumentation, microprocessors, surface mount technology, use of CAD design tools circuit simulation and PCB layout.
• Thorough understanding of the application of scientific principles to instrumentation and sensor design.
• Experience designing data loggers, sensors, instrumentation and communications systems for environmental monitoring.
