Description
To provide NC programs for the drilling & fettling of A400M sub-assemblies and wing build. This will includes:
1)Converting Catia V5 models into NC Programs for 2 automation systems being used to manufacture A400M Wing Assemblies. The programming will be carried out using new Delmia & Konnsburg toolsets (e.g. CENIT Fastip layer drill, KIMMS)
2)Adherence to Airbus process specifications relating to NC Programming.
3)Writing of first aircraft NC programs and any subsequent modifications
Working with the production teams to optimise the drilling/fettling processes
Skills / Knowledge:
CRITICAL EXPERIENCE / SKILLS (MUST HAVE)
•Applicants must have the capability to program using Catia V5 with 5-axis (AMG) NC Workbench
•Good working knowledge of Delmia & Konnsburg toolsets. (e.g. CENIT Fastip layer drill, KIMMS)
•Manufacturing Engineering background.
•PC literate (Excel, Word, Power Point, MS98 or similar)
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE / SKILLS (DESIRABLE TO HAVE)
•Preferably applicants will have the capability to build assemblies with V5 DMU Workbench
