Description
Global Acquisition and Growth initiatives, recent highly lucrative multi-million pound orders and a number of exciting JV’s, Clyde Pumps incorporating Weir Pumps is part of Scotland’s most dynamic and progressive Engineering Solutions Group with both a local capability and truly global presence.
Delivering complex engineered to order bespoke products and complex assemblies Clyde Pumps operate across a wide range of industries including, Conventional and Nuclear Power, Downstream and Upstream Oil & Gas, Water and Industrial Process.
To help facilitate and support the growth of the business a number opportunities have been created for highly motivated and talented Manufacturing/Process Engineers who will work towards ensuring that Clyde Pumps have an Engineering Function that reflects its global brand.
Your remit will include:
• Design, Develop and Drive Continuous Improvement/Lean activities and initiatives
• Implement and Integrate Process Improvements to maximise profitability and optimise performance
• Support New Products/Projects through production managing all Design and Engineering Change
• Business Process Re-engineering.
• Identify and drive flexibility in manufacturing processes and working practices.
• Audit compliance on new Processes.
• Drive Change through people management.
With an in-depth knowledge of tools such as Kaizen, Lean, SPC, 5s and Six Sigma, you will ideally be a highly motivated engineer qualified to degree level with a demonstrable track record in delivering change initiatives within an established, changing and growing business.
