Description
Senior Engineer
To be a focus for other designers within the team and liaising with designers from other subsystems/projects.
Producing 3D models, schemes and manufacturing drawings if required.
Checking work generated by other team members.
Ensure quality of output.
Managing workflow within the team.
Maintaining or assigning maintenance of the VPM structure tree.
Sprint activities.
Drawing/Model management.
Familiar with company/departmental procedures.
Contribution to design costs.
Contribution to design schedule.
Do appraisals if required.
Skills.
Essential:
CATIA V5
3D modelling of spacecraft components and assemblies
Generation of 2D drawings from 3D models/assemblies
Scheme/layout creation in conjunction with structures engineer
Knowledge of Aerospace structures highly desirable
Successful candidates will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment.
