Description
A key vacancy exists within Sales and Marketing for an Account Manager at Cummins Turbo Technologies in Huddersfield, who have been designing turbochargers since 1960 under the Holset brand. Your main responsibility, as Account Manager, is to profitably develop the business of a major European headquartered OEM for Cummins Turbo Technologies. We are looking for applicants who have worked in a customer facing environment, ideally within the automotive or engineering industry and who have some sales experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure profitable growth of the account
• Identify and establish contact with the engineering and purchasing functions of customers as above
• Identify all new business opportunities
• Influence CTT product plans in order to meet the customer’s needs
• Establish sales and profit budgets, and deliver to these within set cost parameters
• Create and maintain account plans for the account and drive improvements within to serve those needs better.
• Link closely with the Customer Service Representatives, Engineering, Marketing and Logistics functions to provide the best value package to our customers
• Measure customer satisfaction on a scheduled basis, and draw up improvement plans to address any issues arising
• Work flexibly as a member of the Cummins Turbo Technologies Sales team

Essential Skills:

• A degree or substantial experience of working within a business
• Knowledge of a foreign language would be an advantage
• Automotive or engineering industry
• Customer facing environment
• Experience of managing and delivering complex projects
• Sales experience very desirable
• Turbocharger product knowledge
• Knowledge of business modelling
