Description Hybrid Assembly Technicians x2 based Portsmouth rate 14.40ph initial 6 months contracts Skills required for role Demonstrable experience as Hybrid Assembly Technician, assembly operators or assembly technicians in microelectronics Experience with semi and fully automated equipment e.g. pick and place. Gold Fine Wire Wedge / Wedge Bonding exp You must be up to MOD soldering standard to apply for the role and be able to have all the above skills . EAD trained or MIL Standard or equivalent standard of work, which will be established by trade test. The standard achieved at trade test would be of a level that would require no more than 2 to 4 weeks training.
JOB SPECIFICATION – HYBRID TECHNICIAN (Manufacturing) The successful candidates will be trained in the following: Hybrid component and substrate assembly utilizing Semi Automated and Manual Eutectic Solder Attach using Gold/Tin solder performs (80/20). Manual pick & placement of preforms and components using the Dr Tresky P&P machine. Hybrid component assembly utilizing a range of Silver Loaded Epoxies and the hand application of these materials. Wiring interconnections using the K&S & Delvotec Wire Bonders, utilizing pure Gold Fine Wire Wedge/Wedge Bonding. Non-Destructive and destructive wire bond pull testing i.a.w. Mil-Std-883. Hermetic Hybrid Lid Sealing using the Resistance Seam Sealing process technology. Hybrid Product Screening; including Thermal Cycling, PIND, Centrifuge, Fine & Gross Leak Testing. Understanding and ability to work i.a.w. the 5 S’ philosophies within the workplace, and the application of these in the daily work role. Understanding and ability to work to the Mil-Std 883 & Mil-Prf 38534 standards for all applicable build processes of Hybrid Assembly. | | |
