Structures, Systems, Cabin Integration Manager
£30K - £35pa dependant upon experience plus excellent benefits and relocation package
The SSCI (Structures, Systems, Cabin Integration) manager is in charge of validating the configured DMU (Digital Mock-up) from a technical point of view (DMU Design quality). He/she has the authority over DMU Design acceptance according to DMU Design quality rules (Quality Gates) to formally reject non-conforming data.
His/Her role is defined in the frame of design work which aims at producing the definition of parts and assemblies in a given time, to a given cost and to agreed quality levels. As such his/her responsibility concerning the Digital Mock-up relates to its technical content. He/she is responsible for ensuring the technical embodiment of Engineering requirements into the DMU and the validation of DMU content against requirements.
Required Skills
Knowledge of aerospace systems design and aerospace structures design rules and processes and tools related to Digital Data Management.
Experience of Engineering product structure management and Data configuration management.
English: Negotiation Level.
Degree/HND/HNC in Engineering preferably Mechanical, with strong experience within an engineering environment
The candidate should be familiar with CAD systems - preferably CATIA V5 and have knowledge of Product Data Management tools
All of the above tasks may require the jobholder to undertake travel to corporate sites across Europe, occasionally for periods of up to a week.
The role will require the ability to work well in a trans-national team.
