Engineering Stores Person / Engineering Buyer
Stokesley, North Yorkshire
£18,000 - £21,000
Our client is a market leader in the provision of Integrated Stores and Supply Chain Management Solutions for Blue Chip Companies in the UK and Europe. They are now looking for a hard working Engineering Stores Person / Engineering Buyer to join their site based Stores Team in Stokesley.
As the Engineering Stores Person / Engineering Buyer you will:
- Work closely with the site engineers to source urgent engineering consumable items as required
- Check deliveries and receipt goods into the computer systems before locating these to agreed storage areas
- Issue goods to stores customers
- Assist stores customers in the selection of products
- Perform weekly rolling stock checks as instructed
- Maintain a good standard of housekeeping
- Perform other stores associated duties as required
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within engineering procurement or an engineering environment and will be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of stores and inventory management, and experience of dealing with suppliers and contractors.
