Shift Manager / Production Manager – Food Production
Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire
Circa £26,000 Plus Shift and Weekend Payments
Our client is the UK’s biggest supplier of egg products, to UK and European food manufacturers. To help strengthen their team, they are now looking for an experienced Shift Manager / Production Manager to join them.
Reporting to the General Manager, in this role you will be responsible for the day to day production of the processing areas, and the co-ordination of production on an hourly basis to meet customer and stock requirements over a two-shift system, which will include weekend responsibilities.
To succeed as the Shift Manager / Production Manager you will have proven shift/production management experience from within a fast moving food industry. Ideally, you will also have experience within high risk food manufacturing and you will hold an intermediate hygiene certificate.
As well as your good standard of education, you should also be computer literate and an excellent communicator with strong management / interpersonal skills.
