Planned Works Team Leader/Supervisor – Electrical Instrumentation & Controls
Spondon, Derbyshire

Our client is a global, integrated producer of speciality and intermediate chemical products focused on satisfying its customers and delivering growth and value. An opportunity has now arisen for a Planned Works Team Leader/Supervisor to join their team.
In this role you will be responsible for delivering all site E&I planned work. The planned work you will be involved with will include routines, work requests, improvements and outages.
Day to day, as the Planned Works Team Leader/Supervisor, your duties will include:
- working with the EI&C Planners and Mechanical Planning functions to allow adjustments to the plan
- record keeping / managing systems for planned work
- ensuring progress updates are available at all production and planning meetings
- providing technical support to the E&I team and escalating issues to engineers in a timely manner
- providing input into equipment strategies, maintenance plans, reliability and spares holding
Additionally, you will also be required to work with the Reactive Team Leaders to agree resource levels and man-management issues such as personnel development and training.
To succeed as the Planned Works Team Leader/Supervisor you must have experience in a similar position and significant instrumentation skills. You must also hold a minimum of ONC (or equivalent) in Instrument or Electrical Engineering, with a bias towards instrumentation. Experience of SAP would be an advantage.
