Our client is one of the UK’s leading electronic Fire and Security specialists with locations throughout the UK and Ireland. Due to their continued success, they are now looking to recruit a Security Sales Consultant to join their team.

This is the ideal position for a talented sales professional with a proven B2C sales track record. Not only does this role offer the chance to develop your skills with a growing company, but also ample scope for career progression.

As a Security Sales Consultant you will be responsible for selling home security packages and the company’s maintenance contracts to our client’s ever expanding client base, covering Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding areas. Your role will involve both generating new business through networking and referrals, and managing the accounts of your customer base.

Although knowledge of the security systems industry would be beneficial to your application, it is by no means essential as a comprehensive training package will be provided.

Day to day, your duties will include:

- generating sales leads by networking, referrals and warm calling
- attending customer premises in order to undertake surveys and progress the sale
- account management – maintaining relationships with the customer post-installation
- identifying resell opportunities with existing customers

To succeed as a Security Sales Consultant you must have previous sales experience in a business to consumer market, a fantastic sales track record and a self motivated approach. You will also need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and a strong command of English.

In addition to your ability to build strong relationships and influence others, you will also need a good level of PC literacy, an innovative and creative approach, and a full driving licence.
