Electrical & Instrumentation Planner / E&I Planning Engineer
Spondon, Derbyshire

Our client is a global, integrated producer of speciality and intermediate chemical products focused on satisfying its customers and delivering growth and value. An opportunity has now arisen for an Electrical & Instrumentation Planner / E&I Planning Engineer to join their team.
As the Electrical & Instrumentation Planner / E&I Planning Engineer your duties will include:
- producing detailed plans/scopes of work and arranging resources for site E&I planned work.
- producing estimates for each planned work package.
- building the working plan to include the high level and area work requests from SAP
- working with Mechanical Planners to deliver an integrated plan
- working with Operations to ensure overall production requirements are addressed.
- providing technical support to the E&I team and escalating technical issues to E&I engineers in a timely manner.
Additionally, you will be required to work with the Planned Team Leader to enable plan adjustments, and you will liaise with the EI&C Compliance Engineer to agree when top up labour is necessary.
To succeed in this position you must have experience in a similar position, with an instrumentation bias. You must also hold a minimum of ONC (or equivalent) in Instrument or Electrical Engineering (this could be from a time-served apprenticeship) with a bias towards instrumentation.
