Description
Fast expanding and highly successful, our client is a leading pharmaceutical company involved in the development, manufacture and packaging of a range of products in a fast-moving, fast-changing 24/7 environment.
With a core emphasis on business management, this key role will have indirect responsibility for c100 heads and will:
-Be responsible for all aspects of his ‘manufacturing cell’ including Supply, Manufacture and Quality.
- Manage planning, forecasting and delivery to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and manage a range of new initiatives including products, plant, compliance and working methods eg shifts.
- Manage all aspects of supply, customer demand planning, forecasting and broader business planning.
A truly wonderful and exciting role, this is the first step towards a broader based General Management role. High performing individuals are likely to be:
- Graduate or similar qualifications with a rounded background in Manufacturing, QA or Supply Chain. You will definitely have a background in pharmaceuticals, API’s or similar.
- Numerate, literate and commercial in approach – you will have strong team management abilities and be able to galvanise and motivate a team to achieve stretch goals.
- Receptive and flexible to a fast changing environment and customer demands – you will be well versed in the demands of FDA and/or MHRA and cGMP.
- Analytical, committed and an individual who thrives on business pressures – fundamentally you enjoy being judged on your results.
