First class opportunities have arisen for Project Managers to join a leading European provider of energy services to local authorities and companies who offer customers end-to-end multi-energy solutions, applying their skills to deliver a comprehensive package of water, energy, waste management and transport services.
As Project Manager you will be responsible for the successful implementation of multi-million pound energy and utilities construction projects delivering demonstrably safe and environmentally sound projects, completed on time and within budget, which meet the requirements of the service delivery contracted to the company and always incorporating continuous improvement and maintaining excellent customer relations. You will also be responsible for providing Project Management support for large construction projects during the Sales process. You must have a thorough understanding of the commercial risks associated with a sales proposal involving construction and be able to advise and influence the positive management of that risk for the commercial benefit of the company.
In particular, you will take responsibility for the health, safety, quality and environmental performance of the construction projects you are managing. You will also successfully conclude the design process from the initial concept developed by others to the start of the construction phase and including the management of the detailed design process beyond. In addition, you will establish the project delivery plan and take control of capital procurement to meet budget, programme and service delivery requirements. Moreover, you will be responsible for capital cost control, initiating and maintaining close control of costs throughout the projects to meet the agreed budget. Overall, you will ensure that construction proceeds according to programme, implement continuous improvement and represent the company to the customer throughout the construction phase.
In supporting the Sales development of large construction projects, you will take responsibility for supporting the Business Development Manager in selling the company solution to the customer, demonstrating sound Project Management expertise and technical knowledge to the customer.
Qualified to degree level or equivalent in an Engineering or Science discipline, preferably mechanical or electrical, you will have substantial experience as a | | |
