Product Manager / Product Marketing Manager – Satellite Communication Systems - £50-60k + bonus & benefits – Surrey, SW London
The Product Manager is required to have knowledge and experience within the Aerospace Satcomms sector including HF, VHF Radio Systems, Satellite Communications, VSAT, Inmarsat, Antennas and RF Power Amplifiers, Bearers, Wi-Fi, WIMAX.
The role will involve development of the product policy, and management of the business case and business plan. To identify and capture R&D funding. Prepare bids, proposals and business cases. Represent the company to government and customer organisations. Manage the product decision process; set pricing policy; and provide support to business capture, sales and bid teams for the product line, including direction to sales teams on market opportunities. Regular overseas travel, requiring the ability to operate successfully in a multi-cultural environment..
Applicants should have a technical knowledge of Bearer, Satcomm Systems, Wi-Fi, RF and Radio Communications. Experience of working with third party organisations and a strong marketing or business development background, including the ability to build a winning team of varying disciplines and skills. Strong analytical and presentation skills, able to quickly assimilate technical and market information and apply this to commercial and business requirements.
