Description Product Structure & Interface Manager required for an on-going contract role. As part of the A350 Manufacturing Engineering / Industrial team this role holder will be responsible for the management of all aspects of Product Structure co-ordination and compliance assurance for the Integrated Wing.
This work shall include but not limited to
Project manage ADAP activities
Project manage Product Structure activities
Wing champion for Product Structure
Coordinate all Product Structure and Interface activities to deliver against PDT Wing programme.
Specific tasked activities will include the following:
-Co-ordinate and assure As Designed As Planned (ADAP) activities
-Manage the integration of each sub-element Product Structure e.g. FTE, FLE, Midbox, Covers, Assembly and Equipping.
-Assure through Product structure development that Wing meets target conditions of mod stage closure during assembly processes.
- Progress reporting at Industrial reviews at Wing level.
- Incorporate the A380 / A400M Lessons Learnt to A350.
- Ensure all procedures are adhered to.
Key Skills:
CRITICAL EXPERIENCE / SKILLS (MUST HAVE)
- 10 years relative Manufacturing Engineering experience
- 1st principles Wing Assembly process knowledge
- New product introduction experience
- Effective problem solving ability
- Ability to manage effectively across non-direct reports and trans-nationally.
- Health and safety awareness
- Commercial awareness
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to provide flexible cover, including extended travel
