Description CONSULTANCY - AEROSPACE BASED BRISTOL, DERBY, GLASGOW
Our client is a progressive and rapidly expanding part of an international consultancy. They provide high end technical and project management services to the prime aerospace companies. They are a strategic supplier to both Rolls-Royce and Airbus UK, and as such are involved in some of the most challenging and exciting aerospace projects in the world:
• Joint Strike Fighter • A380 • A350 • A400M • Trent 1000

All candidates must be in a position to obtain UK security clearance to BC level. Additional restrictions may apply to certain projects.
Aerospace Mechanical Engineers, Bristol - you will be Degree qualified with experience in one or more of the following:
Stress analysis (including Finite Element modelling) Fatigue and damage tolerance Structural dynamics Composite materials Thermal analysis
Ideally you will possess aerospace experience, covering aero-structures and/or aero-engines and be pursuing Chartership through the IMechE or RAeS.
Aerospace Lead Engineers, Bristol and Glasgow - ideally you will be degree qualified with experience of technically leading teams and taking technical responsibility on projects involving relevant disciplines such as:
• Static stress analysis. • Linear or non-linear Finite Element modelling and analysis. • Fatigue and Damage Tolerance analysis. • Engineering design. • Composite materials design/stress analysis
You must be able to demonstrate effective client management and communication skills, project team leadership, technical aptitude in the appropriate discipline, adaptability, innovative thinking and commercial awareness and financial management skills.
Prior aerospace industry experience is desirable, but not mandatory. Experience of supply chain management would be beneficial. Ideally you will be pursuing Chartership with one of the main Engineering Institutes | | |
