The Reliability & Maintenance Manager manages a small integrity team, providing a centre of shared engineering expertise across all company operated assets. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager you will provide guidance, leadership, verification and policing to ensure compliance of the integrity and inspection policies and procedures.
You will also manage the Integrity Managements budgets which includes Diving Vessel Operations which has a £3 - £5 million per annum budget.
The Reliability & Maintenance Manager will manage the risk from major hazards to an acceptable level and ensure compliance with wide ranging legislation. You will be expected to demonstrate the validity of your strategies to regulatory bodies.
Key activities will be to develop and ensure effective implementation of processes to assure asset integrity at optimum cost including:
• Risk based fabric maintenance programmes
• Risk based sub-sea inspection programmes for jackets, pipelines, wellheads, risers etc
• Inspection regime for sub-sea and buried pipelines, including on-line intelligent pig runs and sonar survey as appropriate
• Topsides and Terminal fabric/structural inspection
• Pressure systems examination
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent and hold chartered engineering status. You must possess extensive knowledge of asset integrity practices and legislation and must have experience of an engineering role in the oil and gas industry.
