Description
Project Co-ordinator - ILM
The successful candidate will have:
Knowledge and experience in project management
A methodical approach to the work with sufficient commitment and drive to see the task through even where adverse conditions are encountered,
Experience of working direct with customers and partners, with an ability to demonstrate a capability of presenting ideas and concepts
Proven organisational ability, with an aptitude for anticipating and resolving issues with autonomy.
The Industrial Liaison Manager will support the Fixed Sites Project Manager.
The role includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks:
Managing the Fixed Sites technical schedule, to support the Engineering Manager, the Transmission, Installation & Test Manager.
Liaising with partners to ensure that the schedules are integrated and monitored. To raise issues and risks for resolution in a timely fashion.
To ensure that all design reviews and company processes are adhered to. This will especially include the running of design reviews (CDR/FDR etc ) and phase reviews and to ensure a successful outcome
To manage the project change control process (CP/CN). This will include attendance at the CCB and RRB.
Managing the support staff appointed by the Programme Office to support the Fixed Site activities, such as:
ILS Engineers (inc. Tech Pubs and Training);
Safety and Product Liability Engineers;
PA/QA Engineers;
CADM personnel.
Experience Required:
Work
Mandatory: Proven experience in running minor programmes.
The ability to efficiently organise and co-ordinate their work with good communication skills.
Tools/ Equipment
Mandatory: PC Literate in Microsoft Office, competent in use of EXCEL and powerpoint
Personal Qualities
Ability to work on own initiative and co-ordinate the activities of others.
The successful candidate will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment.
