Commercial / Contracts Manager £40,000 - £45,000 + Bonus (10%)
This is an exciting opportunity for a Commercial / Contracts Manager to join a global business acknowledged as the market leader in it's sector.
The successful candidate will take commercial responsibility for a portfolio of major military and civil contracts and international customers. They will work closely with the Programme management team and other business functions to ensure commercial success. The role will span the product life cycle including technology agreements, bid support, product development, manufacture and support contracting.
Principal Accountabilities:
Responsibilities will include:
1. Negotiation of terms and price
2. Drafting of agreements
3. Business case modelling
4. Contract review
5. Contract risk and opportunity management
6. Providing commercial support and guidance to multi-functional teams
7. Continuous improvement of commercial and business processes
Knowledge and Skills:
The right candidate will have a track record of success in a commercial and contracts environment. Experience of both civil and military aerospace contracting, would be an advantage. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential as are good preparation and planning skills. The role will demand an attention to detail and methodical approach together with good problem solving and negotiation ability. The candidate will enjoy working with customers and colleagues to reach agreement in a demanding environment.
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 plus bonus (10%) | | |
