Description
Development Power Electronic Engineer (Ideally someone Educated to degree level in Electrical/Electronic engineering with specialisation in Power electronics) Located in the Staffordshire area to Develop detailed design specification for power converter and associated components.
Your role will involve:
- Capturing and Documentation of detailed requirements
- Evaluation of potential technical solutions.
- Development of design solutions.
- Liaison with Suppliers
- Production of detailed technical specification for procured items
- Validation of components/equipment in laboratory/wind turbines
- Other duties, as necessary to meet the business objectives
You will ideally be someone with the following:
- Educated to degree level in Electrical/Electronic engineering with specialisation in Power electronics
- Industrial experience with design of power electronics for volume products, from top level design through to detailed design, and verification
- Good communications skills written & Verbal
- Willingness to periodically travel
