An experienced project engineer with a systems engineering background is required for a leading aerospace company based in Dorset. The role will be focused on the following:
Mechanical Project Engineer working on the design and delivery of new engineering test facilities, in collaboration with the Electrical Project Engineer
On completion of test facility projects the successful candidate will transfer to an aerospace equipment project engineering role
Key Responsibilities
•Preparation of technical estimates for non-recurring costs and manpower requirements
•Technical project management
•Preparation of Specifications and other project documentation
•Technical management of external suppliers
•Risk management
•Implementation, commissioning and handover planning
•Liaison with specialists
All the above in support of delivery of:
• New AAR pod & CLU test facility
• New fuel farm
• Temporary rigs for purposes of business continuity
