Job Title: MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS ENGINEERING MANAGER
Location: Hampshire
Salary: £ 50-55000

A Leading Aerospace Company is looking for an engineering manager to join this successful company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the manufacturing systems engineering and test functions to achieve agreed Company objectives. To work closely with and actively contribute to the overall success of the senior manufacturing management team.
Key duties:
To provide inspirational leadership with clear focus and direction to the Department to ensure contribution to the achievement of agreed Company objectives is maximised.To plan, implement and monitor all new product/variant introductions with emphasis on efficient factory layout and optimising capital equipment, taking into account overall manufacturing philosophy.
Job related experience
Planning and introducing improvements
Experience of a pivotal role in process planning and integration from concept to production
Experience in planning and controlling new product/variant introductions with emphasis on efficient factory layout and optimising capital equipment, taking into account overall manufacturing philosophy.
Experience of ATE, and functional testing methods
Understanding of mechanical engineering and complex electro mechanical assembly and test.
Experience of using manufacturing systems engineering tools
Best practice reviews
Experience of reviewing existing manufacturing and business processes and benchmarking them against best practice in lean manufacturing
Experience of reviewing design data and influencing the direction of design
Ability to increase awareness of the latest manufacturing techniques and ensure their embodiment within new and modified products.
Seen as an expert, with a record of research into best practice
Qualifications and Experience
Extensive experience in a manufacturing systems engineering role, including experience at a senior level within a high technology or small batch product-manufacturing environment and, Degree or HND in manufacturing systems engineering or equivalent
