Description
My client, based in Lancing, is seeking a professional and experienced Quality Engineer.The main purpose of this position is to participate in supplier quality assurance activities, internal audit programme to ensure maintenance of the Company's regulatory and quality systems, construct and maintain technical documentation to meet the Company's regulatory requirements, and lead investigate customer complaints.
The ideal candidate should be:
- able to conduct root cause investigations;
- able to provide clear, concise and comprehensive verbal and written reports to all levels of Management;
- self motivated and well organised;
- able to liaise and negotiate with others in the pursuit of goals;
- able to work with others, providing support and constructive ideas in addressing problems.
Proven experience in a quality/technical role in a manufacturing/engineering environment is required, ideally with experience in the medical device industry, applicants should be educated to at least ONC level, with HNC/HND level an advantage. IQA membership or active involvement in obtaining qualifications for membership is desirable.
Successful candidates will have had previous experience with Hands on Quality related roles from inspection upwards.
This role will incorporate a lot of day to day Quality related tasks and you will be reporting to the Quality Manager.

Hours of work:
37½ hours each week and the arrangement of these hours will be Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.00pm (half hour lunch break) and Friday 7.30am to 1.00pm (no lunch break) | | |
