My client is one the UK’s biggest importers of short shelf life products and are now actively seeking to expand their team and bring on a highly motivated QA to join their team.
Supporting the Technical Team you will assist with implementing and ensuring the health and safety procedures of the company. Your key responsibilities will include product quality, sampling and testing, GMP and CCP Audits and dealing with customer complaints.
Ideally, but not essential, you will have a degree in food technology or related scientific discipline backed by experience in a food manufacturing environment covering quality assurance, technical and auditing. In addition you should also display an understanding of a range of foods, spanning chilled, frozen and ambient categories plus a strong commitment to quality and a solid grasp of HACCP as well as legislative issues. Flexibility regarding shift patterns is essential.
