Highly respected sector leader supplying an impressive portfolio of products supplied to the retail and food service markets. Reporting to the Site General Manager, the position will oversee all the technical, quality and hygiene systems across the company.
You will be required to provide strong direction to the entire technical system – quality assurance, supplier auditing, raw materials and finished product specification. Knowledge of the BRC standard and Quality Management Systems is essential. There will also be regular front line contact with the major customers.
Ideally degree qualified in a Food Science/Technology discipline, you should have extensive knowledge of BRC, HACCP and EFSIS accreditation, with the ability to see a much wider picture and to focus on long term goals and achievements.
You will require a motivational and inspirational approach coupled with technical management experience gained within a food manufacturing environment. A big motivation factor will be the fact that you are looking to join a company where you can develop, implement and maintain the standards expected by the customer.
