As a source of technical expertise you will take a lead role in product quality, driving quality issues and delivering innovative new products to the market whilst achieving demanding performance targets. Specific responsibilities will include developing our supplier quality assurance auditing programme and building supplier partnerships, in order to ensure safe, consistent and high quality products throughout the supply chain.
Customer focused with a commercial view of food, you will have a degree in food technology or related scientific discipline backed by experience in a manufacturing environment covering quality assurance, technical, process and product development activities. In addition you should also display a broad knowledge of a range of foods, spanning chilled, frozen and ambient categories plus a strong commitment to quality and a solid grasp of HACCP as well as legislative issues.
