Our client operates across 3 major temperature regimes of frozen, chilled and ambient with a portfolio of brands worth over £220m at RSP.
They currently have exciting opportunities for multi-skilled engineers to join their Engineering team based in Leyland. The positions will be on a 7day shift working pattern over a 4 week cycle.
Within the role you will provide engineering breakdown cover and also monitor the production equipment and carry out maintenance schedules generated by the planned maintenance system. You must change over and set up machinery when a product change is required and ensure that downtime is reduced and efficiencies are increased.
The ideal candidates will have proven experience within a production environment along with attained engineering knowledge (including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic). Educated to City and Guilds or ONC level in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, you will have hands on experience within a major production environment with a relevant engineering apprenticeship. The ideal candidate must be an effective team member and flexibility is essential.
