Description Job Title: Integrated Project Team Lead
Location :Hampshire
Salary: £40-50k -DOE
Contract Type: Permanent
A Leading Aerospace company are looking for an Integrated Project Team Leader to join their company. The successful candidate will be Operating within a matrix oriented organisation to provide leadership of the Engineering Team on one or more projects and/or bid activities within an Integrated Project Team.
To provide leadership and development of multi-disciplinary teams to meet the requirements of the business and its customers.
Key duties:
To provide leadership on one or more projects within an Integrated Project Team with accountability for project performance on engineering aspects against key success criteria, whilst ensuring team adherence to engineering processes.
To develop team members by identifying and recommending appropriate methods of training and development (e.g. PDR process) and to develop and maintain a training matrix. To ensure skills are up to date and ensuring that the team members regularly practice skills.
Apply risk management: to identify and quantify risks to the achievement of the key success criteria and planning and executing activities to minimise the impact of each risk.
Working with the Project Manager and Engineering Project Team in the preparation and maintenance of detailed engineering plans to support the overall project plan; including budgets, resource requirements, task allocation, task dependencies, quality standards etc.
To support the Project Manager in the preparation of management reports covering progress against key success criteria and with recommendations for corrective actions.
Job Related experience & Skills
Experience of managing a project to completion through a managing multi-disciplinary teams
Experience with the full aerospace equipment life cycle and of the development of bespoke equipment incorporating electronics and embedded software.
Technical understanding of avionic equipment and sensing systems
Qulifications
HND or degree in an engineering discipline
Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
Experience with the full aerospace equipment life cycle and of the development of bespoke equipment incorporating electronics and embedded software.
