Description
Design Verification Engineer required to support our Air-to-Air refuelling activities.
Working in the Design Verification team within Auxiliary Mission Equipment, the role requires the individual to support a year long firing endurance programme run by the on-site test range. The activities required by the role are likely to include, but not be limited to, the following:
? Supporting the conduct of the firing trials.
? Responsible for the scheduled maintenance, stripping and rebuild of the units under test.
? Liaison with production to carry out some of the maintenance activities outside the role definition.
? Analysis and interpretation of data generated by the firing trials.
? Accurate logging and reporting of data generated by the trials.
? Generation of formal test reports
? Acting as the Design Verification, Performance and Firing range liaison personnel.
? Active participation in regular communication and reporting sessions
