Our client provides treatment of the musculoskeletal system with products that include joint implants, trauma devices and associated medical instruments.
They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Systems Engineer to join their team based in Leeds. Reporting to the Senior Quality Systems Engineer, your main responsibilities will include monitoring and maintaining CAPA system to include sub system trending, ensuring timely completion and execution of local operational and executive management reviews and managing and maintaining internal audit systems to both local procedures and expectations of ISO 13485 and QSR. You will also be expected to coordinate the master validation planning process, produce and maintain appropriate and comprehensive quality process specifications and assist the Quality Systems Manager and Compliance Manager to manage the regulatory compliance program.
The successful candidate will have worked in a similar role previously and will have a full understanding of internal audit activities and administration. You should have experience of CAPA activities and root cause analysis and an understanding of the principles of operational and executive management review. Knowledge and understanding of validation techniques such as risk assessment, master validation planning, IQ, QQ, PQ, change control and process verification is essential along with an understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. You should also be fully conversant with engineering drawings. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and hands on individual who has a determined approach to problem solving and can adapt well in a constantly changing environment.
