This is a first class career opportunity to join a support services company that provides infrastructure maintenance services to the public sector, the utilities industry and other large organisations. Based in Cockfosters, their Power Services division has nurtured a strong delivery capability for all major Distribution Network Operators (DNO) in the UK and Ireland culminating in long-term strategic framework partnerships.
The Building Service Design Engineer will be responsible for undertaking the management of detailed design work from the initial concept through to completion and handover.
Successful candidates should be competent in every aspect of the design process. You should have sound experience with LUL system in the detailed design for all mechanical services including lighting, heating, ventilation systems, fire system, alarm system.
You will be joining a company which has full knowledge and understanding with standards governing the sector, in-house capability for all electrical and civil design activities and undertakes contracts on a full turnkey basis. They provide these services for substations up to 400kV; steel tower transmission and distribution lines; woodpole distribution lines up to 132kV; wind farm connections; LV connections and overhead line refurbishments.
