Here is a first class career opportunity for you to contribute your engineering expertise to our client?s aero systems / fire protection business in Baden, Switzerland. Joining one of the world leaders in transport and energy infrastructure, the Fire Fighting Engineer will analyze and evaluate fire and explosion protection concepts. In this role you will create tender documentation and technical specifications; evaluate offers and participate in supplier negotiations as well as coordinate supplier activities with project requirements. Furthermore, you will take charge of the coordination of shop inspections at supplier and on-site and provide support in the optimization of products and processes.
The successful candidate will have an engineering or comparable qualification with professional experience in the field of fire protection and fire warning systems for large plants. Proficiency in relevant regulations such as EN, NFPA, VdS is required and knowledge of power plants and/or additional qualification in building services engineering is a plus.
Fluency in English is essential and German or any other European language would be an asset. German language classes will be on offer at an onsite language school and a willingness to learn is crucial. Furthermore, you will be a motivated team player who appreciates interdisciplinary work and has a well-organized working style with the ability to keep track of multiple projects and to effectively manage interfaces in a dynamic, international environment.
