COMMISSIONING ENGINEER
GAS TURBINES
SWITZERLAND
This is an excellent opportunity for you to contribute your engineering expertise to our client?s gas turbines business in Baden and assume responsibility for the preparation and execution of commissioning, testing and inspection activities.
As Commissioning Engineer, you will arrange for commissioning as specified in work instructions and engineering specifications and manage associated test equipment. You will make sure that all relevant processes comply with site-specific regulations, safety norms and environmental standards and contribute to continuous product improvement and cost reduction. Furthermore you will help to identify goal deviations and initiate corrective actions; ensuring that performance feedback is shared and related documentation is prepared. Furthermore you will maintain a logbook of commissioning and operational events as well as coordinate, assess and supervise personnel. In addition you will participate in site meetings and provide trainings on operations and maintenance.
Successful candidates will have a university degree in engineering (Bachelor/Master) or equivalent qualification. EHS training and experience as an operations engineer in a similar field is also necessary. Fluent in English, you will be open-minded, customer- and target-oriented team player with effective communication skills and have the ability to deal with complex situations. German language classes will be on offer at an onsite language school and a willingness to learn is essential.
