TPM Planning Leader / Plant Maintenance Manager

Our client is a leading international engineering group that manufactures precision components and assemblies for the aerospace, industrial gas turbine, specialist automotive fastener and petrochemical markets.
The group based in Sheffield is a leading supplier of fabricated and machined assemblies to the aerospace market. They also carry out specialist processes such as super plastic forming, hydrobulging and electroforming.
They are recruiting a Total Professional Maintenance Planning Leader to work closely with the Facilities Manager and support the delivery of the Facilities department objectives, including a number of continuous improvement initiatives in support of OEE (overall equipment effectiveness).
Managing a team of Plant Maintenance Engineers and Planned Preventive Maintenance Engineers, the TPM Planning Leader will organise and control resources to ensure compliance with all statutory and legal services of plant and equipment. Whilst promoting a safe working environment, the post holder will also need to promote good industrial relations and encourage teamwork and flexibility, and drive change. The role incumbent will take action to continually improve systems and departmental performance.
Our client is looking for a motivated individual who can work under their own initiative and has an ability to deal with complex problems at short notice. You must have a good working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, CNC, and software controls. Computer literacy and strong people management skills, including experience of conducting appraisals and managing training plans, are essential. Good presentation skills are also required.
Located in Sheffield, this role is commutable from areas such as Rotherham, Chesterfield, Mansfield, Macclesfield, Doncaster, Barnsley, Huddersfield and Wakefield.
