A key player within the Food Industry with an excellent reputation for exceptional customer service and providing Quality products to its long term partnerships has decided to expand their team and an opportunity as raised for a QA to come on board. Supporting the Technical Team you will assist with implementing and ensuring the health and safety procedures of the company. Your key responsibilities will include product quality, sampling and testing, GMP and CCP Audits and dealing with customer complaints. The role is a 9-5 day role with excellent career progression opportunities.
Ideally you will have a degree in food technology or related scientific discipline backed by experience in a manufacturing environment covering quality assurance, technical and auditing. In addition you should also display an understanding of a range of foods, spanning chilled, frozen and ambient categories plus a strong commitment to quality and a solid grasp of HACCP as well as legislative issues.
